Facilitating Critical Thinking in the Classroom *Open lecture

Mr. George Kumazawa will give a lecture on critical thinking education.
The presentation consists of three sections as below.
Part 1: Kindergarten Lesson (CT / Moral Education)
Part 2: Grade 6 Lesson (CT / Career Education)
Part 3: High School Lesson (CT / TOK)
※The lecture will include engaging and interactive workshop using a web-based application.Please make sure to bring your own smartphone, tablet or PC.
※The lecture will be conducted in ENGLISH / JAPANESE.

●Lecturer:Mr. George Kumazawa(Showa Elementary School attached to Showa Women’s University)
■ Mr. George Kumazawa has a breadth of work experiences in finance, advertising, software development, and education. He is a graduate of Yokohama International School, an IB school, and is also thoroughly versed in the Japanese education system having worked as a teachertrainer, researcher, lecturer, and high school / junior high school teacher. He is currently taking on yet another stint as an elementary school teacher while co-authoring an official MEXT-screened elementary school textbook, and developing an online resource for classroom English.
